Press Release - Directors On The Run
Keith Hartland and James Fry run for charity ……
James Fry, Director of Blue Frontier and Keith Hartland, Managing Director of Hart Financial Consultancy Ltd, have joined forces to raise money for charity by entering in the Great South Run 2008.
James Fry said, “Keith and I have been good friends for some years and when he suggested this year’s Great South Run, I thought it sounded like the perfect opportunity to raise money for charity and get fit at the same time. Keith and I both have local businesses and young families and exercise is often a last priority, but by signing up to this event we simply need to be prepared. We have been running regularly for the last 7 weeks, but we still have a long way to go – 10 miles to be precise!!”
The Great South Run takes place on October 26th 2008 in Portsmouth.
James will be running for Age Concern Salisbury District and Cancer Research UK. I have chosen to run for Age Concern as they are a local charity, a great customer of ours and their team of volunteers do fantastic work in the local community. My other charity, Cancer Research UK was chosen as a close family friend has recently been battling with cancer.
Keith is also raising money for Cancer Research UK. This is a charity that everyone can relate to in some way. Everyone is affected by cancer either directly or indirectly – we all know, or know of someone, who has had to battle against this disease and the more help Cancer Research UK can get the better the chances for everyone.
